Natura Chronos & Lumina

Following the success of Una, Natura expanded the partnership to two of its most established lines: Chronos, an anti-aging skincare collection, and Lumina, a haircare range. Across three production fronts, we delivered 35 images and 3 videos at 33% of the cost and 25% of the timeline of a conventional project — all live across Natura's digital channels in Brazil and Latin America.

01 Context & Challenge

Natura is one of Latin America's largest beauty companies, with a product toolkit distributed across Brazil and across the region — from digital and e-commerce to print, retail, and activations. Image production relied on a combination of traditional photography and 3D rendering: a process that was expensive, time-consuming, and difficult to adapt when products or campaigns changed. The challenge was to build a faster, more integrated production system without losing the visual sophistication the brand requires.

02 Strategic Intent

The goal wasn't just to produce images with AI — it was to create a new production model where Natura's team and MAAR could work together more interactively, making decisions and changes in real time. A system where creative possibilities expand rather than contract under tight timelines and budgets, and where the output could serve every channel — digital, social, e-commerce, retail — across Brazil and Latin America.

03 What We Built

Three distinct projects delivered under a unified production approach: 11 static images and 3 videos (4s, 15s, and 7s) for Natura Lumina's Força e Reparação line; 9 images for Chronos Refis highlighting the refill packaging as protagonist; and 15 images for Chronos Miniaturas showcasing miniature products in scale comparison with full-size versions. Each project followed the brand's visual guidelines — colors, textures, lighting — while pushing the creative possibilities beyond what traditional photography or 3D could deliver within the same timeframe and budget.

04 Impact & Extension

All 35 images and 3 videos went live across Natura's channels in Brazil and Latin America. Beyond the deliverables, the project established a new way of working: more collaborative, more iterative, and significantly more efficient than the traditional photo and 3D pipeline.

The relationship with Natura continues and is expanding — with MAAR building an increasingly integrated production system that gives the brand more creative range, faster turnaround, and lower cost per asset than anything their previous workflow could offer.
